FUEL SYSTEM DETAILS

  1. Ingestion

Electromechanical deconstruction and mastication of fuel sources, directed by processor decisions informed by electro-optical and acoustic sensing systems. Fuel source integrity largely determined acoustically and through servo resistance encoders. Before mastication can begin, the fuel source is broken down into smaller, more manageable components, often grouped by structure type or use.

  2. Processing

Beginning with mastication in the head and face, the unprocessed fuel enters the internal refinement systems. CLASSIFIED experimental bacteria break down unprocessed fuel into simple alcohols and gaseous hydrocarbons, while excess energy from the fuel cells and primary engine is used to break down a majority of the water in the fuel source into hydrogen and oxygen. Excess unused materials, such as calcium based components of the fuel source, are regurgitated out the mouth after the initial mastication process.

  3. Use

Hydrocarbons are routed to the ICE, while gaseous hydrogen and oxygen are rerouted to the fuel cells. In the event of vacuum operation, the fuel cells can operate this one for 12 hours without a new fuel source. When external oxygen is available, such as in atmosphere operation, it can operate for upwards of a week on one fuel source, depending on exertion levels.
